The Lobby Bar is a London institution – a dynamic drinking destination at the corner of Covent Garden, known for exquisite and inventive signature cocktails crafted by our master mixologists. It’s a favourite fixture of the West End, whether you’re settling in before a show or unwinding long after the curtain falls.
As the name suggests, rather than being tucked away our bar is at the beating heart of our lobby, punctuated with offbeat objets d’art and framed by the building’s Art Nouveau curves.

Scoop & Fizz
This summer, sparkling wine meets handcrafted sorbet in the most deliciously refreshing way. Introducing Scoop & Fizz – our elegant take on the classic sorbet cocktail and created in collaboration with two brilliant independents. The pour comes courtesy of Rathfinny Estate, whose East Sussex sparkling wines have quietly become some of England’s finest. The scoop is from Oliphant’s, the family-run Buckinghamshire producers of award-winning artisan ice-cream and sorbet, with a store right here in Covent Garden.
Together, we’ve created three pairings to discover – Raspberry, Alphonso Mango and Coconut – each sorbet matched with a different Rathfinny sparkling for a perfectly chilled sip of the season. Join us in the Lobby Bar on one of those warm afternoons designed to linger and discover a taste of summer, served by the glass.
Gallery Cocktails
The One Aldwych private collection of contemporary art features 400 compelling pieces from incredible British artists and international rising stars. Like the art, the drinks explore the connection between nature and artist, celebrating modern distilleries and producers using traditional methods to bottle exciting and authentic flavours.
Food
In our Lobby Bar, the menu moves effortlessly from light bites to indulgent favourites. By day, expect elevated classics, from our club sandwich and One Aldwych beef burger to day boat fish in beer batter, alongside lighter options such as the One Aldwych poke bowl and toasted walnut bread with smoked aubergine. In the evening, the focus turns to sharing: British charcuterie and cheese, mini burgers with truffle mayonnaise, crab cakes and indulgent lobster brioche – all made for settling in over cocktails in the heart of Covent Garden.
