Two maids, Solange and Claire, are sisters with a secret. When their wealthy, glamorous madam is away, they pass the time role-playing as mistress and maid in her lavish bedroom. However, their private ritual is not harmless fun. A shocking revelation soon turns their world into a deadly game of cat and mouse, and the true intentions behind their power play are unveiled.
Jean Genet’s classic play has scandalised audiences since 1947. Inspired by the real murders committed by the Papin sisters, the lines between fantasy and reality blur with breathtaking consequences. This spectacle of rage and revenge explodes onto the Donmar stage, directed by Kip Williams (director of the hugely acclaimed one-woman play, The Picture of Dorian Gray on the West End and Broadway, starring Sarah Snook). Cast includes Yerin Ha, Phia Saban and Lydia Wilson.

When We Are Married is a timeless, classic British comedy masterpiece by JB Priestley (author of An Inspector Calls). It is directed by the Donmar’s Artistic Director, Tim Sheader. Casting includes Siobhan Finneran, Samantha Spiro, Sophie Thompson, and Marc Wootton.
