We like to think we’re as welcoming to those on four legs as those on two, so don’t automatically think you need to leave man’s best friend at home. We’re one of London’s most dog friendly luxury hotels.

 

Our location makes us the perfect spot for walkies, with the many pedestrianised streets of Covent Garden right behind us, and easy to access Thames-side walks barely ten minutes away. We can also point you in the direction of dog-friendly green spaces, including Lincoln’s Inn Fields and Victoria Embankment Gardens – great for exploring on all fours.

If your dog is joining us, he or she will be treated to:

  • Their own ergonomic bed
  • Dog bowl
  • Towels
  • Delicious (so we’re reliably told) treats from Bow Wow London (our city’s chicest dog boutique and grooming parlour).

 

After all, we want them to feel as special as you do while you’re in residence.

House rules

All small to medium-sized dogs who have passed their first birthday are invited to stay in our dedicated dog-friendly bedrooms and suites, provided they are fully house-trained.‍

For everyone’s comfort, dogs are not allowed in our restaurants or Health Club. However for in-house guests we can always find a spot for them to join you in the Library or Lobby Bar until 5pm.

All we ask

All we ask is that you let the Reservations team know your dog’s details when you book, so we can be prepared to welcome them, and that you sign our dog policy at check-in.

Are dogs allowed in all rooms at One Aldwych?

All well-behaved, small to medium-sized dogs who have passed their first birthday are invited to stay in our dedicated dog-friendly bedrooms and suites, provided they are fully house-trained. Please let us know at the time of booking so we can ensure everything is prepared for your pet’s arrival.

Is there a charge for bringing a dog?

There is no additional charge to bring your dog to stay at One Aldwych, we simply ask you to sign and adhere to our dog policy at check-in.

Is One Aldwych suitable for large dogs?

You are welcome to bring your dog if it is small to medium-sized and has passed their first birthday.

Can I leave my dog in the room at One Aldwych for a few hours?

Dogs are unable to be left unattended in your bedroom. They are welcome to join you in the Library or Lobby Bar until 5pm.
