A festive embroidery workshop with lunch
For those inspired by the talent behind the Bayeux tapestry, we’ve teamed up with the Royal School of Needlework, founded in 1872 and based at Hampton Court Palace, for a series of festive embroidery workshops at the hotel on Sunday 8th November, Sunday 22nd November and Sunday 6th December. Learn from the experts who stitch for fashion houses and royalty alike as you create your very own snowflake emblem on an embroidery hoop, a keepsake for the tree or a gift worth giving. No experience needed, just a little patience and a love of making. Once your final stitch is in, you’ve earned a roast and a glass of wine in the Lobby Bar, surrounded by our Bayeux Tapestry-inspired Christmas decorations. A winter’s day in Covent Garden, with a little history woven in.
