One Aldwych’s signature restaurant, Indigo, has launched a new tasting menu to celebrate Cornwall’s bountiful seafood, organic produce and rich culinary heritage.
Throughout the summer, Chef Dominic Teague will be sharing his love for the region and its rich gastronomic heritage with a six-course tasting menu. Of course no Cornish menu would be complete without an array of seafood; seaweed baked monkfish and St Austell mussels bring the flavour of the sea to the heart of London, whilst Cornish classics are given a gentle touch of innovation with miniature pasties and Dominic’s take on a cream tea.
Trevibban Mill is a small, family-run vineyard near to Padstow, sharing the land with the food producers and artisans providing the exceptional ingredients for Dominic’s menu. Their characterful wines are produced sustainably in small quantities, working with nature instead of against it.
Overlooking One Aldwych’s vibrant Lobby Bar, Indigo is a calm and elegant space from which to keep an eye on the hotel’s comings and goings. Both our signature restaurant and a neighbourhood jewel famed for flavour, it is known for delicious food with a touch of imagination.
Like all of the dishes in Indigo, the Cornish tasting menu is completely dairy and gluten-free, (not that you’d know). Our vegan tasting menu has also been given a Cornish twist and is offered as an alternative.
The six-course Cornish Tasting Menu starts from £95 per person and is available until 23rd September 2023.
