What is the best way to decorate a private dining room?

Our rooms are already dressed for dinner, so flowers, candlelight and a table that suits your guest list often do more than elaborate décor. Our team can arrange floral arrangements to suit your occasion and your budget, and we’ll talk you through colours, table layout and lighting for the room you’ve chosen.

Is there a minimum spend for private dining bookings?

The events team will discuss a figure and budget that suits your space, date and guest numbers. They’ll talk you through the set menus, canapés and wine list so you can see what works for your budget.

Can the space be customised for special occasions like weddings or anniversaries?

Yes, and we’d love to. Whether you’re marking an anniversary with a small supper or hosting a milestone dinner, our team will shape the evening to fit, from menu and wine to flowers and layout. For something intimate, we can arrange a private dinner for up to six in one of our suites. The Press & Type Room seats up to 40, and Downstairs at One is finished to your specifications for larger gatherings. We’re licensed for weddings too, so if you’re planning a wedding breakfast or an engagement dinner, we’d be delighted to talk it through.
