No dry academic, Matthew is passionate about bringing the area’s richly layered literary history to life, from where Miss Austen would stay during her frequent trips to London to Charles Dickens’ former home.

 

Enjoy these tales and many more amongst the evocative setting of Covent Garden’s historic buildings and alleyways – all decked with the season’s spectacular decorations.

 

Warm up on your return with mulled wine and mince pies in the Lobby Bar and time to chat more with the fascinating Dr Green.
