“I think very few people are completely normal really, deep down in their private lives”
PRIVATE LIVES is the famous, hilarious comedy about divorced couple – Elyot and Amanda; glamorous, rich, reckless – who, while honeymooning with their new spouses – discover that they are staying in adjacent rooms at the same hotel. Despite a perpetually stormy relationship, they realise that they still have feelings for each other. Noël Coward’s scintillating classic comedy asks can you love someone too much? Or too many times?

when winston went to war with the wireless
By Jack Thorne. Directed by Katy Rudd
May 1926 British industries grind to a halt, as 1.3 million workers down tools for The General Strike.
With the printing presses shut down, the only sources of news are the government’s The British Gazette, edited by Chancellor of the Exchequer Winston Churchill, and the independent, fledgling British Broadcasting Company, led by John Reith. Just four years old and yet already of huge importance.
What followed was a fierce battle between Churchill and Reith for control of the news. Does the BBC provide cover for a government frightened of Soviet Russia or support workers who have had their trade whittled away from them? What matters more – impartiality or the future of the BBC?
This offer is available for the following dates:
- 15, 26, 29 June
- 8 July

NEXT TO NORMAL
Book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey. Music by Tom Kitt. Directed by Michael Longhurst. Starring Broadway’s Caissie Levy.
Heart breaking, hilarious and, ultimately, incredibly hopeful, NEXT TO NORMAL centres on the story of Diana, a mother struggling with worsening bipolar disorder and the effects that managing her illness has on her family. This powerful rock musical addresses grief, depression, ethics in modern psychiatry, and the power of familial love. When the original production premiered on Broadway in 2009, never before had a musical tackled the issues of mental health in a way that brought stigmatised illnesses to the forefront, encouraging audiences to open up about their own wellbeing.
This offer is available for the following dates:
