One Aldwych launches a new Sunday Brunch with Champagne Bollinger

London // September 2025 – From Sunday 28 September, London’s first five-star B Corp™ hotel, One Aldwych in Covent Garden, is launching a brand-new Sunday Style Brunch experience in collaboration with fellow B Corp brand, Champagne Bollinger.

Hotel guests and Londoners alike are now able to enjoy this popular Sunday tradition with a twist as the entire menu is both gluten and dairy free in line with the restaurant concept – starting with Champagne or Bloody Marys served in the hotel’s iconic Lobby Bar and continuing to Indigo, One Aldwych’s signature restaurant. In the heart of Covent Garden, the new Sunday Style Brunch experience has been curated by Executive Chef, Dominic Teague as a new way to enjoy this timeless tradition, to the beat of a live DJ setting the weekend mood.

On arrival, guests will be greeted by a glass of Champagne or the Bloody Mary trolley in the Lobby Bar, which was freshly refurbished by Fabled Studio earlier this year. A range of delicious antipasti dishes served on the bar will include British charcuterie; Cornish hand-picked crab; John Ross smoked salmon; and a series of fresh salads with the finest, responsibly-sourced British ingredients, in line with the hotel’s sustainable and local ethos. The experience then continues upstairs in the hotel’s signature restaurant, Indigo, where classic brunch items such as truffled scrambled eggs on grilled sourdough; pancakes with streaky bacon and honey from the hotel’s very own rooftop beehives; and potato rosti with crushed avocado and confit tomato are on offer. For something heartier, guests can choose dishes such as roast sirloin of beef or roast Cotswold chicken with all the trimmings and rump steak, cooked over coals; One Aldwych’s popular fish and chips; and grilled lemon sole. Ending on a sweet note, a table of miniature desserts will include an ever-changing choice of treats such as poached peaches in lavender and saffron; apple and blackberry crumble with vanilla custard; and Cornish chocolate mousse with raspberries and honeycomb. Guests can also enjoy an optional flight of Champagne Bollinger to accompany brunch, which features three specially selected glasses to add to the experience – Bollinger Special Cuvée, Bollinger Rosé and Bollinger PN VZ 19.

An occasion that brings all the family together around the table, younger guests will be able to enjoy a specially curated menu of dishes including mini burgers and roasts – Devonshire chicken or sirloin of beef – fish and chips or delicious bowls of pasta, followed by a selection of sweet treats from the dessert table.

Managing Director at One Aldwych, Janine Marshall commented “We’re delighted to launch a brunch experience that reflects One Aldwych’s unique character – sophisticated yet welcoming, rooted in quality, and designed to delight. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a celebration of Sundays in one of London’s most colourful and characterful neighbourhoods, where you can start the day with brunch and continue on to some of the city’s best cultural and artistic attractions, on our doorstep”.

The Sunday Style Brunch at One Aldwych will launch on 21 September, priced at £90 per person or £30 for a child, with an additional supplement of £85 for a Champagne flight by Bollinger, with reservations taken from 12pm to 2:30pm.

About One Aldwych

Covent Garden’s cultured, independent hotel – a true modern oasis, privately-owned, standing proud within the distinctive, stand-alone, triangular building, former home of the great Morning Post newspaper, at the point where The City meets the West End.  With stunning spacious, clean, contemporary interiors by Fabled Studio and Robert Angell, embellished with Art Nouveau flourishes inspired by the building – and spirited English touches – warm, welcoming and a little unconventional.  The result is an exquisite, expressive, original style as befits a truly independent London hotel.  Covent Garden’s neighbourhood restaurant, Indigo, is the home of simply delicious dishes by Chef Dominic Teague, using ingredients from the best British independent producers – while the hotel’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory inspired afternoon tea is a firm favourite with young and old alike. Other facilities include the Lobby Bar, The Library and Health Club with 18-metre / 59-foot chlorine-free swimming pool, spa and gym. One Aldwych is the proud recipient of One Key in the inaugural Michelin Guide to Hotels 2024 and achieved B Corp status in September 2024.
