This year, One Aldwych’s Lobby Bar, has transformed into a magical enchanted forest, creating a wonderful woodland escape. We welcome you to sip on a tipple from our delicious festive cocktail menu, whilst you take in all the wonders around you.
While the woodland forest might not tempt the deer and owls in from the countryside, woven willow creatures will gather around the tree, framed by warm fairy lights that twinkle invitingly.
Everyone who works at One Aldwych is passionate about the countryside and protecting the natural world – which is evident in our wild and natural Christmas tree reaching to the ceiling of our famous double-height Lobby Bar.
Its graceful branches covered in lichen, and decorated as if foraged from the forest floor – all curated by our incredible resident florist, Mark Siredzuk.

This Festive Season we go back to nature, as with every bottle we mix into drinks during the party season, Sapling will plant a tree.
Our mixologists recommendation is the Woodland Negroni. With a Sapling gin base, Campari, Aker English Rose and spiced berry cordial – you can savour every sip of this festive take on a traditional Negroni.
Perhaps you prefer a more sweet option, in which case you should try the Wintry White. Using Sapling vodka as the base with a creamy Frangelico liqueur, cacao brown liqueur, cinnamon and plant-based cream, it would almost be your dessert.
