From one of the capital's oldest pubs, the Lamb & Flag, to an outstanding florist in St Martin's Courtyard, Julian's favourites are found in the backstreets and down some of the historic passages and alleyways that give Covent Garden its inimitable charm.
When Julian came to chat to us in the hotel's Screening Room, he shared with us his love of Covent Garden's eclectic nature and pointed out that "In this part of London there's everything - if you want to go to the ballet or the opera, or you want to see a straight play or a great musical."
From runaway hits such as Charlie & The Chocolate Factory and Matilda, to the historic Royal Opera House, London's Theatreland offers plenty of excitement and drama in a beautiful area rich with culture.
