Dame Sarah Storey

With her hectic sporting schedule and busy family life, the gold medal-winning Paralympian athlete Dame Sarah Storey frequently finds herself in London. She describes One Aldwych as her "home from home" and loves to be in Covent Garden as "it's central to everything you could need to do in London.
Aside from working, Sarah enjoys downtime in Covent Garden too and is particularly fond of the Embankment Gardens. After a busy day of people and pigeon-watching, she and the family make a beeline for any of the delicious coffee shops in the streets around One Aldwych. Favourites include Primrose Bakery for a fine coffee and an indulgent cake - even sports stars need the occasional treat!

With a wealth of memories associated with her time spent at One Aldwych - including being awarded her DBE and OBE at Buckingham Palace and the Team GB parade, which came past the hotel following the London 2012 Olympics - Sarah's associations with Covent Garden are truly unique.
