Our Location

An address in London’s beating heart; One Aldwych is located in Covent Garden at the centre of culture and theatre. Our unique neighbourhood with its elegant piazza and cobbled alleyways is a foodie destination, a theatre lovers paradise and the gateway to the very best of London.

Our Heritage

One Aldwych's building has an illustrious past as the home of The Morning Post newspaper. From our position at the west end of Fleet Street, the daily paper was written, edited and printed within our distinctive Edwardian building until 1927.

Accommodation

101 suites and bedrooms (16 suites and 85 bedrooms) in cool, calm pastel hues, contemporary curves and elegant art deco details. There are three room categories: Classic Rooms, Superior Rooms and Deluxe Rooms, four suite categories: Bridge View Studios, Classic Suites, Aldwych Loft Suite and Aldwych Corner Suites and four Signature Suites: the Dome Suite, Waterloo Bridge Suite, Somerset Suite and Terrace Suite. Interconnecting bedrooms and bedrooms with wheelchair access are also available

Recently redesigned, each light-filled space is unique in design, alike in exceptional quality. Luxurious finishings include: large walk-in rainforest showers (some with an additional bath), Isle of Syke yarns, Mitchell & Peach bath products, English oak floors, Italian bed linen, feather and down duvets, original art in every room and suite, fully stocked minibar, Dyson hairdryer and mist-free mirrors in each bathroom.

The latest user-friendly technology includes: B&O Bluetooth speakers, flat screen smart TVs by Loewe, individually controlled air conditioning, bedside fibre optic reading lights, digital on-demand in-room entertainment, private direct dial numbers for telephone and facsimile lines, unlimited complimentary WiFi and broadband.

Each suite and bedroom has a Nespresso coffee machine.

Terrace Suite
110 square metres / 1,183 square feet

The Terrace Suite offers a breath of fresh air in the city with a bird’s eye view from the rooftop terrace. The elegant décor of this spacious two-bedroom suite is combined with the latest user-friendly technology and dining area, as well as a guest cloakroom.

Somerset Suite

Waterloo Bridge Suite

Dome Suite

The Dome Suite with its unique circular bedroom and king-size bed offers the perfect surroundings for a blissful nights’ sleep. The spacious living area is idyllic for relaxing and entertaining and the separate bedroom and walk-in wardrobe make the Dome Suite feel like a home away from home.

Aldwych Corner Suites

The Aldwych Corner Suites offer flexible living and can be adapted as one, two or three bedroom suites. Experience spectacular views along the tree-lined Aldwych from the generously-sized living space. 

Aldwych Loft Suite

Located on the top floor, its elegant sitting room and dining area make it ideal for families or those staying a little longer. Thoughtful touches include a rainforest shower, a double vanity unit and the latest technology.

Classic Suites

These bright and circular open-plan spaces overlooking Waterloo Bridge boast a welcoming seating area, as well as bathrooms with rainforest walk-in showers, double vanity units and bathtubs.

Deluxe Bedrooms

Superior Bedrooms

Filled with natural light, these well-proportioned rooms are attentively finished with beautiful residential furnishing with the option for king-size or twin beds. The lounge-style seating offers the perfect area to relax whilst bathrooms feature rainforest showers.

Classic Bedrooms

Enjoy a king-size or twin beds and a blissful bathroom that offers a mist-free mirror and rainforest shower. The lounge-style seating provides an area to relax.

The hotel’s in-house florist, Mark and his endless creativity are responsible for creating the stunning flower arrangements throughout the hotel.

As a lover of the arts One Aldwych has a close connection to London’s world-class culture and excellent local galleries. The hotel’s own private contemporary art and sculpture collection has over 400 items of original art displayed throughout the hotel and in every suite and bedroom.
