Sir John Soane's Museum

Sir John Soane’s Museum is one of the most iconic and influential buildings in the history of architecture, just a 10 minute walk from One Aldwych. Created by Sir John Soane himself, one of Britain’s greatest architects, it was his home as well as his private museum. Soane’s collections of architectural fragments, paintings, sculptures and furniture are still arranged today as he left them in 1837.

The museum offers a selection of tours with an expert member of the highly knowledgeable staff, who will provide a fascinating insight into the house and museum, the collection and Sir John Soane himself.
