AXIS AT ONE ALDWYCH

Beautifully light and exploding with flavour, Executive Chef Dominic Teague's carefully crafted Modern British menu is not to be missed.

The striking restaurant with its Covent Garden location is ideal for those seeking great food and good conversation, far removed from the buzz outside.

The Axis menu incorporates the finest seasonal ingredients and embraces the best of British. It includes an abundance of foraged foods such as delicate sea purslane and wood sorrel, not forgetting a list of exciting artisanal cheeses.

Stand-out dishes include a starter of 'Smoked salmon, Cornish crab and citrus crème fraîche' and a main course of 'Pan fried sea bass, parsnip, marsh samphire and confit lemon'.

You'll be torn between desserts with dishes like 'Vanilla panna cotta with Yorkshire rhubarb' and 'Chocolate and caramel tart with buttermilk ice cream' on the menu.

With its enviable Theatreland location and a fixed price menu reflective of the style of the à la carte menu, Axis is the perfect spot for a bite to eat before the performance.
